BBNaija Season 11 Winner Temi Nkem Receives ₦90m Cash Prize, Brand-New Hyundai SUV

Big Brother Naija Season 11 winner Temi Nkem Chigbue has officially received the major prizes attached to her victory in the reality television show.

The prize presentation was held on Tuesday at the Big Brother Naija premises in Ilupeju, Lagos, two days after she was crowned winner of the “Show Ya Sef” edition.

Temi Nkem was presented with a ₦90 million cash prize and the keys to a brand-new Hyundai SUV, alongside other rewards from the show’s sponsors. The overall prize package is valued at ₦160 million. 1

The 21-year-old, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, emerged victorious at the grand finale on Sunday, October 4, after securing 25.87 per cent of the final votes.

She defeated Aikou, who finished as the first runner-up with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba placed third with 9.80 per cent. 2

The presentation ceremony was attended by Temi’s mother, fellow Season 11 housemates and representatives of Big Brother Naija and its sponsors.

After receiving her prize, Temi expressed appreciation to God, her family and her supporters, particularly her fans known as the “Teminators”.

She also disclosed that she intends to invest her winnings and continue her education.

“I’m just 21; I need to invest in my future, so I’m going to be investing the money and I also need to go back to school,” she said. 3

Temi’s victory came after 70 days in the Big Brother Naija house, where she competed alongside 23 other contestants.

Her win also makes her the fifth female winner in the history of the reality show, following Mercy Eke, Phyna, Ilebaye and Imisi. 4
